Outreach

Our outreach team manages our partnerships with schools across north and south London. They help new schools come on board, host coffee mornings in these schools and distribute information to help women access our services.

Contract management

Our contract management team works with local authorities and regional agencies to help women with children get back to work. They deliver a range of employment and skills and welfare to work contracts, targeting women from all different backgrounds. They also partner with other local organisations and training providers that support women.

Career support

Our career coaches, personal advisors and job brokers provide an invaluable personal service to each of our clients, as they prepare for life back in the workplace. The team has a broad range of HR, coaching and IAG expertise across the corporate, public and private sectors. They specialise in managing transition in careers, advising on job searching and applications, starting up your own business or supporting women who have moved to the UK for the first time. They also provide consultancy services to employers on flexible working.

Recruitment

Our recruitment team specialises in part-time vacancies, running a commercial recruitment agency alongside an online jobsboard. They are adept at finding the right opportunities for women who are looking for flexible work, and provide a professional recruitment service for employers, by sourcing high calibre, suitable candidates. The team has expertise in assisting employers with job design, writing job ads, candidate searching, shortlisting, interviewing and skills testing.

New business development

Our new business development team identifies new opportunities for Women Like Us to grow our services for both women and employers through public sector contracts and other sources of funding.

Communications and policy

This team works hard to promote Women Like Us and the issues affecting women who want to work after raising their family. They speak to a wide range of audiences, including women, employers, Government, local and national media, and other service providers.

Business support

Our business support team manages the internal infrastructure at Women Like Us, underpinning each core activity with back-office resource, systems and indispensable support. Their responsibilities include: overseeing the running of our offices in Archway and London Bridge, providing administrative support for all the teams, managing our finances, managing our ICT systems and managing our internal HR.
