Women Like Us

Bringing women and employers together with flexible work

“Flexible working is the future”*

Flexible working is high on the agenda for many people; not just women, but men too who want to be more present at home, and organisations adopting new ways of working to attract and keep the best talent.

We’re encouraged by government policy changes that are enabling more people to compete in the UK labour market. As a leading force in making these changes a worthwhile reality for women and employers, Women Like Us needs to understand what’s driving the flexible working revolution. And we like to share what we know.

Research, background information and links for women, employers, head teachers and government partners can therefore be found here.

Government strategies

The government has a range of strategies and initiatives to help women with children to get back to work while still maintaining their family responsibilities. We work with government to help achieve those aims. Click here to find out how.

Flexible working

There is a whole range of flexible working arrangements, relevant policies and legislation in place. Read more about what flexible working actually means by clicking here.

Schools pack

Our school gates network connects us with mums thinking about returning to work. We also work with head teachers and parents to provide a friendly, supportive service to women at the schools. Resources for head teachers or governors are available here.
